To the Team:  Your general discussion board has been hacked!  For those of us who check new posts the first 12 pages or so are filled with the same spam.  I couldn't think of a different way to let you know.

Can we please stop using the word 'hacked' for everything?

 

Someone created a spam account and is creating topics every two seconds using an automated script. No moderators are available right now so the account hasn't been banned just yet. That doesn't mean 'General Discussion' was hacked or anything like it - even because 'General Discussion' doesn't have its own independent server or anything to be hacked. It's just good old spam.

 

Now, who wants to buy some Viagra with free shipping?
