Resolution setting

Did I miss something that resolution would be set at 1024x768 for this stage of the alpha?  Changing it and restarting the game doesn't do anything.  Just wanted to know if I'm not doing it correctly or if this is an alpha feature.  Finally going to get a chance to dig into it tonight.

The resolution should change, the only thing is that it is not reflected in the settings page. The settings page always shows the same resolution, even if the one shown is not applied.

Ahhh.  Ok.  Makes sense.  So it'll always SAY it's 1024x768 even though it's something else...

I think Alpha access for this week is going to finish quite soon, if it hasn't already (its 00:10 Moscow time).

Mine is nailed to 1440x900, the way I've set it...

Yes at some point it seems to finally keep it, but in the beginnign it doesn't. Don't know what's the trigger for saving it. There is a bug in the corresponding sub forum for it.

 

Wild guess: Maybe after starting it one time (not restarting it) with the saved settings, it shows that resolution.
