Rigsby Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 As the title suggests I need a good setup with the Saitek Combat Rudder Peddles. Can you upload a pic of your curves if you have messed about with the settings, because at default I am all over the runway. Cheers!!
1./KG4_Blackwolf Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Here is mine, It works... I may do some more tweaking but its a start
Fifi Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 (edited) Hmm...Lagg rudder feels very nice without curves here (Saitek pedals too). Not too much sensitive...just good. But wouldn't say so for roll control though. Had to set sensitivity up to 0.2 with my Warthog, so the plane behaves much much better (and more realistic imo) Edited November 21, 2013 by Fifi
1./KG4_Blackwolf Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Like the OP I was all over the runway until I backed it off. Now at least I can control it. Funny ROF I have a curve as well but other games I don't need it. Might be a pedal thing.. but I have the older peds, maybe the newer versions are different but that's what works for me.
CreepiJim Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Recycling this thread as it is Saitek rudder related. Anyone got the toe brakes to work? I got the Saitkek ProFlight pedals and only the rudder axis is detected and not the toe brakes. Any idea what I need to do to make it work? Can't program a button to the toe brakes and directional axis are not recognized in-game.

CreepiJim Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 It does not even recognize the input in BoS to invert the axis. And the rudder itself is detected correctly.

First (and very importantly) do NOT try to assign any functions to the pedals using your feet! After plugging in the USB connection put them on a flat surface and use your hands when moving the pedals to assign the right and left "Differential Brake" functions, then again using your hands, assign the "Rudder Axis" function. Secondly, do not get overly exuburent when imputing the right or left "Rudder", if you hit the stops "firmly" the pedals will LOCK-UP! You will then have to remove 20 screws, and carefully re-align the pedals so they "unlock", then have to reinstall the 20 screws! Trust me, I've done it three times (greatly increasing my "expletive deleted" vocabulary in the process!) In spite of the above, they work well. I am a retired corporate pilot and use my flight sim to practice instrument procedures. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H67DDY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER I was thinking of getting the normal version too. Not sure if the pricier Combat version is worth it?
