How to set mouse for use in cockpit

Finally able to start game. In single player, quick missions, mouse is keyed as pilot view. I want to be able to use my hat switch initially, then Trackir. How do I change the mouse so I can use controls in the cockpit? This is for BOS.

You can´t actually click anything in the cockpit - everything works with key bindings.

The switches etc. are animated and are moving according to your inputs - but no clicking.

You can use for "pilot view": joystick POV HAT, mouse and keyboard keypad keys, but no need unbid one to use other, can alternate between then in fly.

 

The mouse cursor and clicks work only over bombsight commands and the scroll for zoom in/out the map in full screen (O key), besides turret Mg's/cannon aim control.
