SCG_motoadve Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Been flying with no brakes,no problem. Landing with no brakes, a bit of a problem. Saitek Pro pedals Windows 7 Game doesnt recognize the toe brakes. So any help appreciated.
Sokol1 Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 (edited) First, in the game planes use two kind of brakes system. "Toe Brakes" - Luftwaffe planes and P-40 = Press the right or left rudder pedal "toe brakes" for brake respective wheel. "Differential Brakes" (don't know the correctly name, use this for explain purposes) = Russian and Italian planes, press the brake key/button for brake BOTH wheels and MOVE the rudder for right or left to brake respective wheel. So, you can't assign you fancy rudder pedal "toe brakes" to brake in Russian/Italian planes, only for Luftwaffe and P-40, assign in Controls > Planes for: rpc_wheel_brakes_left, joy1_Rx, 0| // Left wheel brakes rpc_wheel_brakes_right, joy1_Ry, 0| // Right wheel brakes Sometimes for axis be recognized is need move the axis back and forth several times, as well adjust sensitivity. In any case, Saitek rudder pedal brakes work OK in this game, is something in you side. For Russian/Italian planes, assign a key or joystick button for: rpc_wheel_brakes, key_space, 0| // Wheel brakes No applicable to your case, but as curiosity, in this game the "differential brakes" can be used in Luftwaffe planes too, as welcome concession for people with "3in1'" joystick with "twist rudder" (or rudder pedal with rudder axis only, e.g. VKB T-Rudder, Tm RCS/Elite...).
