GrendelsDad Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) I have been dog-fighting quite a bit in my 110 of late(check my stats, I'm a pretty big deal around my house!). I am here to challenge any one of you Red pilots to come and get some.(even better a squad) So where can I get my hands on this super pilot? Well just so happens that my squad 6./ZG1 will be in a flight of 8 110's and we all challenge you Yaks and Laggs to try your best to get through our escorts. You will not stop us from hitting our targets. And after we have dropped and destroyed your airfields, flak guns, tanks, trucks, hangers, fuel-depots, chickens, parked aircraft, well then we always bring a little extra fuel for you guys. Thats right, we don't run home. We will happily fight you guys and show you why you should think careful about messing with that wall of lead you will be eating! So if getting shot down by a 110 sounds like your cup of tea...Please come join us for a great time at Saturday Night Bomber Flights!!! http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/20918-saturday-night-bombers-flight/page-23 <------sign-ups and info here...2 different times this week as well Planes available on both VVS and German (attack, bombers and fighters)!!! 216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Oh, you braggarts are going to have it tomorrow! I'll be leading a LaGG-3 flight on Saturday 1900 UTC, anyone interested in demonstrating why twin-engined heavy aircraft do not make good fighters, please join up. 2
216th_Jordan Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) Too bad I will miss it, you guys would be going way down Anyway, I'm confident the VVS will do it's job right and an leave with zerstörte Bf-110s Edited June 17, 2016 by 71st_AH_Jordan 2

Turban Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 (edited) I like how you discreetly mentionned your escort Easier to look brave when 109s are covering your 110's fat ass Edited June 18, 2016 by Turban 1
GrendelsDad Posted June 18, 2016 Author Posted June 18, 2016 HEY!!!! only I can say she has a fat ass!
GrendelsDad Posted June 18, 2016 Author Posted June 18, 2016 Yes indeed...lucky for us (all pilots received clearance to return to battle tonight) we have re-enforcements on the way at 21:00. Last I heard there were 4 or 5 Yaks with 110 shells in the fuel tanks somewhere over Kalach. Nice to see most of the Stukas return home on our way out for second sortie.
[CPT]Pike*HarryM Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Yes, the Stuka's seemed quite charmed, sailed through it all (nearly) unscathed.
seafireliv Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Yes, the Stuka's seemed quite charmed, sailed through it all (nearly) unscathed. Bah. I messed about too much behind them until a 109 jumped me. I should have opened fire right away. Won`t happen again.
curiousGamblerr Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Yes, the Stuka's seemed quite charmed, sailed through it all (nearly) unscathed. They deserved to get home unscathed after the poor showing I gave them, I wish I had never found them I'll do better at 21h00!
ACG_pezman Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 I don't know Grendal, I think we have the 110's a good ventilation job today. It's too bad I told my wingman to attack the stukas, I could have used another pair of eyes at the end
GrendelsDad Posted June 19, 2016 Author Posted June 19, 2016 (edited) Looking forward to AARs this weekend. And yes P3Z I dont think any of us made it back to base on the first or last sortie. Many pilots survived...many gunners did not. Edited June 19, 2016 by 6./ZG1_GrendelsDad
ACG_pezman Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 How about our Russian Marsielle? That JG53 Drift3r had a good showing. I know we were all impressed with his flying and gunnery. It's funny really, I spend years learning how to fly in this game and it takes this guy one damn day to get the hang of it... Oh to be that young again! Great missions though and let me say it's a weird feeling to be In a fur-ball with super aggressive 110's, to then look out to the southwest on a gun pass just to see another 3x 110's heading straight for us. The moment where i was trying to ID the contacts, see two props become visible on each aircraft, then to see these little black dots jettison from them as they pull into these unusual attitudes and start firing at us. It was a bit scary to take on 5x 110's with 2x Yak (one of our Yaks got bored and decided to land on the German army and fight hand to hand. Seriously, his aircraft wasn't even touched by enemy fire). In the end we lost I believe 4x Yak in total to a confirmed 3x 110s downed from fire and maybe another downed on the way to RTB from damage. Damn good show 110's 1

I kinda hate to admit it, but maybe it really is a youth thing. He was picking off aircraft like crazy. Nice work. He doesn`t even have Track IR! Edited June 19, 2016 by seafireliv
Monostripezebra Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 (edited) I have been dog-fighting quite a bit in my 110 of late(check my stats, I'm a pretty big deal around my house!). I am here to challenge any one of you Red pilots to come and get some. to bad the challenge adresses only fighter pilots ;=) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BImm3y7lOII video feat. a certain 110 pilot ;=) Edited July 14, 2016 by Dr_Zeebra 1
GrendelsDad Posted July 14, 2016 Author Posted July 14, 2016 That poor 109 thought he was gonna make it lol...right into the tower. The first vid I wasn't there....I was afk. Came back, hit tab and I knew who it was when I saw you were in the server. The real challenge would be to do that in SNBF. Now that would be impressive. Also I will expect my royalty check in the mail. Thank you.
Monostripezebra Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 (edited) Rgr, it may come with a little bomb attached, tough... hard to break habbits ;=) but so far I only done it on WoL or DeD expert.. I try to be more teamplayer during events and actually do what is given as mission.. it´s just that winning missions on normal rotating servers seem so pointless and far more fun to have interactions with the real people there. GrendelsDad Posted July 14, 2016 Author Posted July 14, 2016 Nooo...by all means have fun. Even on SNBF airfields get raided, you are a great bomber. As someone who tries with the sight from time to time my hats off too you sir. I really enjoy spawning at an airfield under attack. It makes this game come to life, even if my pilot has to be sacrificed from time to time. 1
