IL2 - BOS Zoom FOV 'Curve'

Hi I have a quick question regarding the FOV zooming whilst in the cockpit.  I have the Zoom In and Zoom Out bound to keys on my keyboard and when i hold either button down the zoom has a strange inertia. It feels like it doesn't just zoom from 0% to 100% but slows down around the 50% mark only to then speed back up to 100%.  Now i swear i have seen videos where the FOV zooming is linear and smooth - maybe i'm wrong. I've gone through all the Camera settings but I can't quite find the right setting.

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

OK i just fixed the issue.

 

I had to bind the zoom axis to an axis on my joystick and then remove the sensitivity curve from it. Then i unbound the axis again and continued to use the Zoom In and Zoom Out keys individually.
