Crashing after Wings of Liberty / Expert

Hi,

 

I've been playing the single player, normal/easy.  Quick missions for a bit, but the campaign for some time.  Have a couple chapters left.  I've decided to try to play on Expert mode against others.  Saw the Wings of Liberty server mentioned on youtube, so went to multiplayer, clicked the server and it downloaded something.  I spectated (or tried, it was dead), but decided I should play out the rest of the campaign on Expert to make sure I was able to fly and contribute.

 

So, now when I do a campaign mission, Expert and Long (so I have to take off/land) the game crashes any time I try a Russian plane.  I select the BoS Chapter 2, select the first town in the 3rd story (Air Bridge), select a Russian fighter (does this on Lagg, Yak, and LA5), make sure it's Expert & long, select the grey skin from the list, I don't change the ammo - and it crashes to an error message on desktop.

 

I can't seem to find the game files, so can't figure out what was downloaded from Wings of Liberty (I thought maybe a skin or something might be causing crash).  I tested a 109 F4, and was able to get in and take off (and promptly get lost without a map, haha).

 

Advice please?
