taffy2jeffmorgan Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Hi. I have been recording a few of my missions [quick missions] recently and they have all recorded well, I would like to pass these on to sons and grandsons to give them some idea what this fantastic combat flight sim is all about. What i would like to know is, can these be selected and sent by email, I am not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to computers, if this can be done , how would i be able to do this . Cheers
Rjel Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 I'd recommend Shadowplay also. It's free, works well and doesn't seem to cause any system slowdown. I don't use it during actual game play but to make copies of recorded tracks.
curiousGamblerr Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 If you want to make a movie from the track, Chief's advice is what you want. Capture with FRAPS and edit in MovieMaker or similar program. In case you just want to share the track with another pilot, however, you could email them the raw track file. The tracks are located in their own folders in data\Tracks. I've never done it, but I'm pretty sure you could just zip up a track folder and share it with a friend as long as they have the game to watch it. That way they'd have all the angles, etc. instead of just a 2D movie. Depends on what your goal is!
taffy2jeffmorgan Posted June 7, 2016 Author Posted June 7, 2016 I have tried Nvidia Experience Shadow play which works well, but be careful, because when setting up Shadow play, apart from the default button combination that selects record, you are given an option to select which is something a little simpler if you wish. So I selected the letter "R" for record, only to find that when using my keyboard for any other purpose I could not type the letter "R" so had to go back into the Shadow play setup and delete the letter "R" now my keyboard works fine !! Cheers
