Everyone has to decide to him or herself, what his/her challenge is... If shooting down a one-engined heinkel 111 below 3000m to steal the kill of a Yak & Mig duo ( http://il2stat.aviaskins.com:8008/en/sortie/log/709460/?tour=10 ) is what challenges you.. then be proud ;=)

 

We both know, it maaay look a bit different when the mission allows for planes like the Ju-88 with which the climbing can be done in halfway realistic times to still participate in the mission... I mean, the 111 is nice and all that, but it is totally out of place on a casual server with 5 mins flight time where 20% of it´s fuel are even waaay to much range for the targets and taking it to 6k at war load is over an hour, a time by which the derpity derp down low is allready over and all players have left. And yes, the mig and yak where on me since the first objective, since they tried to defend it. At 50m altitude, even that meager 200km/h at 2.5k was nearly too much speed & altitude for the defenders ;=)

 

this is how your Ju-88 intercept looked like, it´s a shame that rarely ever anyone else bothers to leave the mud below and get at fighting altitudes.. Having high bomber formations and organized groups trying to intercept them makes for a very different and cool gameplay experience, one which simply doesn´t exist on casual derp servers.. thanks for climbing there, Hauggy

The track stopped before you shot me.. but there will likely be another chance to shoot me. And if you want to see me die in a Heinkel.. here is another one from the "no-88" mission, where I even tried to go up to 3.5K and still get rammed to death.

honestly...it's pathetic how desperate some people are for kills...he has to strafe a dead Heinkel on the ground even if it means his death just to be able to say "I'm cool, i killed a crippled Heinkel"

Damn Zebra I didn't realized you had just one engine...it didn't seemed like it.

Also I shot from way too far on that Ju-88 intercept because i was running out of fuel

I came back later at 7000 meters in a mig but the game crashed right after I engaged some cosmonaut 109.
