Monostripezebra Posted May 24, 2016 Author Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Not bad, I'm just not a big fan of the spawn bombing, that being said it's nicely aimed. I am, though.. ;=) and considering it takes some 15-20 min to even get there at a reasonable altitude, take minutes in a high enemy presence area to precisely fly an approach while the enemy gets ample warning through AAA firing and even "air attack" warning icons on map.. as well as you can easily de-spawn in the time between bomb release and explosion, sometimes even between bomb impact and explosion (if you see the bomb hit next to you and you haven´t left the starting postion, if you´re really quick in reactions you can still despawn before the damage aplies to you.. ) and then the bomber still has to try and make it home despite fighters and killerflak, I think it is no where near "vulching" and the suicide low level airfield camp: If you get caught, it is your very own fault just as beeing jumped from altitude in a fighter. It isn´t much different. The whole amount of time it takes makes it a rather rare occurence as well as the requirements of an undisturbed long final aiming leg to actually hit anything.. if you think it is "defenseless spawnkilling" it´s only because you haven´t tried it for anyone having doubts on the "despawn" reaction time: it happens.. just look closely at this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XChs2TEMlEo at 0:27 you see two planes when the bombs impact from 5k.. the yak (a TWB member with good reflexes) despawns after realizing the bomb impacts, while the I-16 doesn´t and hence I only get credited with that one: http://il2stat.aviaskins.com:8008/en/sortie/log/687059/?tour=10 one kill, for 53 minutes of flying. Hardly anything "unfair" especially on a derp server with unbalanced teams (I mostly fly for the side with less peole, anyways) I mean where exactly is the fundamental difference to taking a 109, climbing up.. and using superior speed to avoid all engagements until you can pounce someone unsuspecting that you need to hit with aiming skills.. execpt for the superior speed part? =FEW=Hauggy Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Jeez it sounds like I said it was bad or something, do what you want, I just personally don't find that interesting or fun that's all.
