I will retire more or less from this hobby and go DCS helicopters for the closest future. I will buy me a Baur stick or a gunfighter and a collective instead.

I bought my yoke from www.737yoke.com

it comes with trim buttons and 2 triggers and autopilot button (left thumb) but I got them to put a button on right thumb also (this fell apart because of shitty quality, not like the original button on left side. but wires are there) and a hatswitch right side. The tension springs for pitch is reduced to 3 on each side (was 6)

It works perfectly and is a good hardware to fly with. I bought it for 1600 Canadian $ inc, shipping + tax witch I cannot remember.

If someone are interested in it please give me a pm and we make a deal. I am not looking for getting my money back. The check list plate is not on it anymore , but I got it somewhere

Well surfing and looking is a bit easier for me now , than before. I succeeded in finding this stick for a cheap price. 1: 5th of the prices presented on eBay . So I bought it.

I was thinking of buying the Gunfighter stick. But I just want to get the feel of the real thing. I probably should have put a better GPU as a higher priority . But this is how my head work, So now I order a base from Baur and start connecting

Seems from early versions of Westland Lynx/Wessex helicopters.

Westland whirlwind chopper yes. I looked for years after a complete one worth the money. Most in this price lack buttons , or are just the grip.

There are a lot of similar or even better on eBay , but they cost a lot. Sokol here showed me a beauty coming from a Hind helicopter.

I was very fascinated by it :)

When WW2 turned late 42 in East front and the russians started to take over German equipment they sent it for evaluation. During the war they adapted some of the Germans ideas and used it. Like the KG 12- 13 stick.

I did not know they stuck with that design up to the MIG 15 -17

If things had been different for me, if I had not invested in another authentic stick already and in new MGF rudder pedals I would have bought this.
At first glimse this might seem expensive. But it is equivalent with a warthog and MGF rudder pedal

But this one have the most interesting part, the KG grip, "mutilated" without buttons, probable from two seat trainer version, for the apprentice don't put fingers in wrong places. :)

Please post a review if you have time.  Nice looking hardware right there.  Congrats.

I plan to make a honest review and make a video session using it. I had great difficulties deciding between this and Komodo Simulator and in the end it was delivery time and stronger hydraulic dampers in stick that make me decide. I promised Maxflightstick the same. I will however most likely not have time using this until mid August.

But t is a high end equipment with a complete price for stick and collective and rudder starting from 800$

When you think of it it can compete with Warthog and rudder in price

I will adapt wes.whir7_zps2jvdcydx.jpg

I will use this stick with flying IL 2 in this game. All buttons are now connected to a USB control card and ready for use, the brake handle will function as a break of course

At first I was skeptical , the feel of the stick was very not like I was think it was, sturdy and quite hard resistance but light to move. Thinking over it I can remember the same feeling when trying a chopper I just rescued from sea after a successful autorotation landing.

After a very short time I learned to love this and can do pretty amazing maneuvers with the Gazelle in DCS. I found it a bit difficult to fly in BOS , but I guess I will get used to it, the non centering hydraulic damped stick stay where you leave it, the movement is in all games 1/1 and it is really a authentic feel to it , all tho not yet used to it.

I find myself much easier hitting target and planes head on attacking my IL 2. So I think it will be a winner.

Going for another 1 and a half week for work . Will be back with a full report when I am used to this
