Often demanding but also grateful ... Thank you Devs !

So many times I came here to report bugs, improvement or change request, getting enraged, inflamed or angry 

 

I think that being demanding and challenging is part of our passion. Simulation is so immersive that when we choose a sim to fly several hours a days, for years, it become part of your life experience, especially when you have the chance to share it almost everyday with squad mates !  

 

Looking back in the mirror, I would like to point out that a lot of things have been fixed in the meantime and improved slowly but surely with years in terms of content and performance. I won't get into every single details but I consider that 64 bits has now bring a new dimension to this game. This 2.0 is a solid release including all the ingredients for a great future, so I wanted to share my thanks and recognition to the Dev Team with all of you.

 

Also hope that the FMs will stabilize to this new "2.0 reference point" in order to avoid to re-adapt to FM changes at every single patch. As an exclusive FW-190 flyer (when available on maps) I have to mention that the FW now recovered a pretty decent behavior in maneuverability since 2.0 maybe at the exception of energy management ... (regarding maneuverability 1.20xx series was a real nightmare for FW pilots because of too exaggerated high speed stall and "random" viciousness). 

 

I'm now considering myself completely reconciliated with the whole game and ready to buy BOM.  

 

Very grateful for the huge work accomplished the last two years

It`s good, very good, but isn`t as good as the original IL2 1946, yet.

To be fair IL-2 1946 was the sixth iteration/expansion of original  IL-2

BoS/BoM isn't perfect, yet. But what is?

Critics/credits are given when necessary and IMO we have seen good development on many department.

 

I appreciate work done by devs greatly

every time I climb to the cockpit. It's been fun!
