Need toogle-switch functionality for custom-views: Small addition with large benefits

After I had to resort to "Joy2Key" on my quest for a gunsight-view toggle-switch, here's what I request to be added to the game:

 

 

Functionality needed:

 

Ability to activate gunsight view/any predefined custom view with a toggle-switch. Meaning: I want to be able to push a button to switch to (and stay on) a zoomed in view of the gunsight. Push the button again and it will bring me back to my normal flying view.

 

As it is now in-game, I have to push and *hold* a button to get to a zoomed-in view of the sight. But that's no good if I want to map the gunsight-view to a thumb-button on my stick (I need the thumb to fire cannon while zoomed in ... and since I don't have two thumbs on my right hand ... ).

 

Simple solution would be to add an option to the "snap-view: custom"-function to turn it from the "push and hold"-functionality we currently have into an "on/off"-type of toggle-switch.

 

I'm currently using Joy2Key to get this functionality, but it would be much more convenient to have this sort of thing built-into the BoS keymapper.

 

Re-post from another sub-forum, including a short video I shot to illustrate what I'm looking for:

 

 

 

(Using Joy2Key), I mapped NUM-DEL and NUM 8 to the button in question, then set that button to "toggle on/off". I also adjusted my camera speeds as sokol suggested and I can now switch to the gunsight nearly instantaneously and without having to hold down the joystick button.

Each time I zoom in or out, that's just a single "push and release" of the button. No more need to hold it down to stay on the gunsight.
