Very slow tank the Matilda. Im not sure how that would translate for player popularity.

Good point. Even the PzIII feels so slow.

Agree.

And I'm sure they will. But the rapid development and improvement of BoS/BoM proves that adding tanks has had minimal impact on the sims' aviation portion. It's just an enjoyable diversion for most. I hope that part of the game continues to be fleshed out.

It's a flight simulation game... so much more needed in the aviation department, I really hope they leave the tank side alone now.

Not sure what they were after when they introduced them, but no one buys this game to play tanks. If they were hoping to bring over the WTGF boys, it's not happening.

I think it was something they already had in the works from before, they then threw it in to give a different perspective on the Stalingrad battle. That's fine, but if it starts impacting on aircraft improvement and aviation progress, then I would be dead against it... (just my perspective of course)...

If they have time and resources to pull more ? Sure they should bring few more. StuG would be important to keep those T-34s aways. And for BoM rather then Matilda, it should be Valentine tank. It saw first combat in USSR during the Battle of Moscow and was practically operated till the end of the war. Wehrmacht could benefit from Pz 38(t).

Theses are my feelings too.  Although I'm sure the tanks have not impacted on actual aircraft development, I can't help wondering if the resources put into tanks could not have been better put into other details more related to the core of the game.

The further development of the QMB for example.  How nice it would be to have an option for a front line with enemy airfields protected by flak and populated with parked planes and vehicles, destructable buildings, fuel bunkers that explode during a strafing run.

This sort of stuff.

Yeah, there are quite a few who enjoy this part of the game and it clearly did not take many resources away from the aviation core. I don't use tans but keep em coming. I would love to see a larger variety of armor as the game progresses, even if it is just eye candy and targets.
