Selling if you don't care for BOS?

I'm not sure where to put this so....

What options do you have if you've decided you just don't like BOS, and don't care to continue with it?  The keys are tied to my account, but can I advertise/sell/trade the account to someone else on this forum?  If I can, what subforum should I post that in?

I know of one person who shifted their bos account to a brand new email address.  Then gifted the game on, giving the recipient the password to the email address so they could then move in and change its details for themselves.

I figured you could do that with the generic email address, but can you specifically advertise/post a for sale/trade thread on this forum?

I think it's a legitimate question.  Not everyone is going to like the game, and if I had the Steam version I could have asked for a refund.  It's a waste for my account to just sit there unused when someone could do something with it.

So you’re not caring about this particular game ,as indicted by your previous post, wishing  for more Western, Pacific and US centred , actions, I can see  your frustration as this is  a Eastern Front, Russian Patriotic war Sim , having said that;  don’t you support the flight-Sim  genre? Soo few Sim made today worth mentioning and the whole industry, East  or West oriented, not a goldmine for developers; don’t you find it in your hearth that it might be worth to keep them going by  supporting them with just a few $ ? The worth of a pizza and a beer!

Someday the sun might rise over your Glorious P-51 in The Pacific Area if you do. And If you don’t...

is it supporting the genre? it certainly helps the developer but how does this filter to the whole genre? I'm reading more and more from less than thrilled BOS customers and that to me seems like damage to the genre.

Meanwhile everyone else in the flight sim development market seems to be moving with the times and technology and already have Western aircraft.

I think I may have just committed forum suicide.

Oh no! You will have your VR support real soon. But did you or your friend really buy the sim? I think not

No need to think about it, I have not bought BOS and that's not meant to be a secret, I have played it though, I cant comment on 'my friend' and whether he has bought BOS or not but I assume he must have.

Eagle Dynamics, I would have thought it obvious, spare me the obligatory criticism of DCS, I have read it all, but it is the best as far a flight simulation goes even if it lacks a comprehensive set of aircraft and theatres.

I don't really want to get into specifics as to why I'm not into BOS, but it's a lot more the gameplay and technical side of the game then the aircraft and theater.

The developer got my money for what I have, so it shouldn't really matter to them what I do with the account IMO.  I simply wanted to inquire as to whether someone wanted to take over my account at a heavily discounted price, or trade me some extra game key (sim related or not) for it.  I can do that on other forums, but this is the main hub for BOS stuff and the best place for me to find someone interested.

It is easy to see why some do not like BOS, I did not like it in the start, it took a long time before flying bombers had any point at all. And now I have my fun moments with it.

Everyone have to respect the fact that people have their own opinion, this topic was not started for opinions of the game, simply if he could sell it here. I think only Feathered

stuck to topic here

Everyone sounded sort of plural to me.

In Russian forum I see people selling keys in their Flea (market) section, there don't know if is forbidden or no, and anyway always are "Witch hunters" around.

Think you have better change if announce in other forums - although I see key +1 DLC announced for 20$ or trade for DCS modules or other games in two other forums and no one interested until now...

Gift that key for a friend.

The Russian forum has a market section?

I dont think there is an issue....just make a post saying you will sell your game linked to a new email account and that's it.
