Lusekofte Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 The F-5 and a very few other jet´s intrigue me. This might be one I actually will spend time in 1
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 I grew up with F-5E Tigers buzzing overhead, so to me this is one of the most anticipated releases there could ever be. Thanks a lot for sharing, LuseKofte!
ram0506 Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 A must have for me. Belsimtek is doing a great job. Look at those cockpit graphics!
Lusekofte Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 It will be released today they say. I think I will have to reconfigure my DCS install. and spend some time with it after FNBF and SBNF
ram0506 Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 As far as I understand, today pre-purchase of the Tiger will start. Release will be later when documentation and training missions are completed.
Blooddawn1942 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 (edited) Bought it yesterday. Early Access begins in July or August. Edited May 21, 2016 by Blooddawn1942
BeastyBaiter Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Should be a lot of fun, out of the dozen or so officially announced aircraft, it and the F-18 are the only ones I'm actually looking forwards to. It's supposed to be released into early access in July, BST is normally pretty good about keeping their schedule (they don't announce squat till it's basically ready) so I'm confident it will arrive on time.
ACG_Invictus Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Mudspike's first flight / review: http://www.mudspike.com/first-flight-belsimtek-dcs-f-5e-tiger-ii/ I'm so looking forward to this one...almost as much as the Spitfire or F/A-18. Not sure what it is about the F5....it just screams early-70s sexy. :D
ST_ami7b5 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 I have quite a lot of DCS planes but stopped buying them until some "believable" maps appear...
Picchio Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 How's that Spitfire going I wonder? Looking at those screenshots pairing with the Kitty, it would seem they're both in good shape. And closing in, as some recent comments suggest...
