Yesterday's update went off without a hitch. Today's update killed my game. I hit play button on the launcher and nothing happens. The program stops responding. Tried rebooting. Same thing. Tried to open the game with the exe in the game folder and the same thing nothing happens. Is there a hotfix coming for the hotfix?

Not steam. I'm currently downloading the whole game again and reinstalling.

I did before uninstalling. Made no difference.

I updated last night in anticipation of playing this afternoon. Now there apparently is another update and it keeps saying failed to update and wont update WTH???

I don't know what it was but uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it.

Interesting.  Downloaded the hotfix 2.001b earlier this evening.  Now getting another 106.35mb download.  Another hotfix?

We published another hotfix, 2.001c, to address several problems before the weekend so you could enjoy the sim a bit more:
 
1. Some plane modifications in the campaign won't be incorrectly shown when in fact they weren't unlocked;
2. Map markings will appear correctly in multiplayer;
3. Plane markers won't appear after entering and exiting a gunner seat of another player plane on Expert difficulty in multiplayer;
4. Turn function works fine in bomb sight when mouse control is enabled;
5. Mouse control improved for Fw 190.

It happens the same to me...now I am downloading the whole game..

my problem was solved with checking the download from web interface or something to that effect in settings. It immediately downloaded and was fine.
