WHY NOT??? It is amazing theatre! First jet plane ME 262, Mustangs, Flying fortress etc... No body want next 10 types of BF 109s...

 

A 1945 "battle" now will make latter expansions uninteresting, most people want only the "Uber/OP" planes, so rest as option... Korea, Vietnam...

What makes me sad is that there isn't much discussion going on about Battle of Moscow. Maybe the situation is better on the Russian forums. I blame it on the early release of the BOM planes. That dilutes the excitement over the entire development period, and by the time the game is ready people have already forgotten about the new planes and are waiting for the next episode. Imagine the enthusiasm we would be seeing now if the i16, the mig3, the bf110 and the ju88 were coming out now!

true , true BOM is released and I´m looking forward to play finally the full game...but since the Bos release I have been playing quick mission builder all the time and still waiting for some improvement to the career mode. And there is emptines

In fact, any theater would be cool, Kursk, Italy, North Africa, Britain, France, anywhere in the Pacific, Northern Europe, Korea, etc etc.

It does split it a little bit but the overall effect is more sales.

 

For example, I bought BoM earlier than I would've because there were nice events using BoM happening. To play together people will get the new module

Very good point. But that's a common thing. People tend to desire the things they don't have.

It probably works for their release timeline though. That way they get the revenue for the next theatre the second it's announced. But it does make the main release shine way less than it should.

The Il-2 1941 seems really nice to blow stuff up in,... if I could just survive more than a couple of minutes to do so!

 

I just want to have some fun, not die die die. Please give me a selectable 'weakling' level so I can sometimes just enjoy things, or evven just throw in a few more escorts generally for missions?

 

Yes, yes I know this has been said before but, jeez, it just cripples SP when you're not in a fighter. I mean, what on earth are you supposed to do when you're chugging along with no rear gunner, your 'wingmen' floated off somewhere long ago, your I16s escort were despatched in seconds, again, and you've got at least two 109F4s stinging you repeatedly until your aricraft disintegrates.
