Yup. Trying to simulate six degrees of freedom with a 2d input device is never going to be easy. Or sensible, I suspect, which is probably why the developers haven't tried. If you want 6DoF get yourself proper head-tracking gear - you won't regret it.

a mouse only has 2 DOF.

 

you could add 2 modifiers to get 6 DOF but im not sure that would be the best solution.

 

NB if you cant afford Track IR build your own track hat (or u can buy them now) and a PS3 cam and use free track.

 

PM me if anyone wants help creating the cheap alternative to Track IR
