Hopefully a simple Q - how to display an on-screen message on AI object death?

First, thanks to all the people that post in here, those guys who have made videos and of course Prangsters guide.  As well as you other mission builders - without your information I wouldn't have been able to start putting together missions for our little Co-op sessions that we like to have.

 

So hopefully someone here can give me a tip on how to do this

 

I have enemy AI objects, linked to a Trigger Counter (on its killed event), this then deactivates the Icon that I have displayed in the main map.

 

I would like to display an on screen messages, to the allied side, telling them whatever I want ideally and this should probably be triggered by the Trigger Counter I`m guessing.

 

But I cant find out how to put up a "Bridges Destroyed" or "Tank Column Destroyed" or even a simple "Well done comrades, now move onto the next objective"

 

Any suggestions will be warmly received

 

Also can I do this with objects such as Hangers that I have "made" German ?  They dont show up as kills so I am clueless with this but I need to know as I think a lot of missions I make will involve buildings being flattened.

To show a message just create a Translator: Subtitle and connect it using the OnKilled event (or a target depending on what you want to do).

I simply didn't see that so I cheers for the help.  Works perfectly, and now I know where it is I can apply it using different logic triggers so thats nice.

Yeah you can use any logic to trigger it, so it's pretty useful.
