Yep,

 

been away from here and IL-2 BoS for a while, on the usual civil simming diversion, but got back this week, and plan to start using it again, but I would like to know if any progress has been made, for instance in the area of flight dynamics tunning for some of the aircraft.

 

Any News about the next version of the series ?

 

In the past couple of day's, to get instant action, I logged into the BERLOGA server. In one of the occasions I got night ( twilight ) fying, which was really great and not common in my IL-2 experience - an interesting challenge!

 

I thought that a great addition to the sim experience would be having communications with ground support / tower at the airfields... That would require pre-tunning of radios, and some sort of ssigning keys to select between the stored frequencies... The guys on the other side could be players, or AI, and the sim could allow to occupy such positions, as an alternative to flying or driving tanks...

 

Well, back to trainning that tricky and sensible P-40 ( sort of like it, don't really know why... ), and my Fw190 A-3

 

C'ya at the MP servers - please be nice !!! I get lost easily without a VOR and an ADF, not to talk of the lack of a decent GPS....

Waiting and watching the development here not much else.

Dev team seem very busy to finish BoM and release it (perhaps this month). After this release we will know, perhaps, what next chapter will be.

 

And if you are away for quite some time, we are now running 64bits, so the sim is much more stable, there is no more skin flickering and we can expect great visual advance in the future, also they said it was a first step toward VR, so we can hope that someday we will be running DX11 which is mandatory for VR.

Yep, I left just after it went 64 bit, so, not too long ago, but I believe at least one update was issued in between.

 

Yep, looking fwd to BoM final an their announcement of the next theatre of operations :-)
