I can help if you give me some direction. These are two bloody hours of interview with Loft and Han, they could have said the nuclear launch codes for Russia, the United States, France and the United Kingdom in this interview and I still wouldn't listen to it because it's hard to make the time for it. What are we looking for, friend? :)

You give us 2 hour Russian interview on an English forum and you don't even bother to tell us what it is about?

I started listening to it, thinking it might be short and even despite the fact that I dont speak Russian, I may understand most of it ... but dang it, two hours ? After listening to this interview I'd most likely be able to fluently speak in Russian lol

The only word I understood in the first 2 minutes was "Microsoft"  I think I know what that means.

If I understand this correctly; he can't tell us what it's about because he doesn't speak Russian either.  But he does seem to be annoyed about it.  Have I got that right?

Han speaks at length about the Gameboy Advance. Loft keeps talking about how the other staff members are always taking his things from the office refrigerator, despite them being clearly labeled.

Albert likes to talk a lot and he didn't let Danil say much :)

In general nothing like breakthrough news, they talked about almost everything that happened in the past and what they do now. Some highlights I remember before fell asleep:

- look into past (old Sturm,ClOD,RoF...)

- focus on documentary game style

- focus on Great Patriotic War to remind Russians and other former SU nations what their grandfathers were fighting for

- they mentioned tank battles at Kursk and tigers and panthers when talking about possibility to use tanks in game

- Pacific was mentioned in some way

- Albert said 19% of customers are from behind big lake (US of A)

To sum it up. Albert talks a lot but doesn't say much :D

That's a lot of interesting information, though I'm impressed he took two hours to say this

I skimmed it through a bit, between Albert's speeches as summed up above Danil would insert some interesting historical trivia such as the abridged history of the AM-35A engine and the MiG-3's strong points.

Russian customers are 20% of business. On a per capita basis BOS/BOM is more popular in Russia, but one can understand why considering the content. This is my personal war.

Well if those evil Russians dare talk about their own history they better know we can sanction them!!!!!!

OH hang on a minute

If they want to talk in their own language they don't have to provide a translation as far as I am concerned...I doubt we gave the Libyans much chance for translations when we blew their country to pieces for no reason

Loft and Daniel are both characters and I've been in those long discussions with them not knowing what the hell they are talking about until someone can interpret. It's kind of entertaining though at times. I've spent quite a lot of time with Loft in very tight quarters. We don't always agree on what to do in business, but he is a good person and means well. Daniel has grown to be a very professional and capable manager over the years. So much of our products are Daniel getting the team to perform very hard tasks quickly. He's also a great planner.

I hope someday we can make more American and British planes.

They are the same CFS enthusiasts as we are. The only difference is that while we just talk and argue over BS, they took one more step forward and actually produce those CFS . It is obvious that Russians would focus on their history. I'd like very much to see comparable enthusiasts from the West doing the same ;)

Indeed.

Personally I think they're on the right track - there is a need to keep that history alive and pass it down to the newer generations. I also find it important to get the story out there to foreigners who were never exposed to that history outside a two-page description in high school textbooks that said 'Barbarossa happens, Stalingrad happens dot dot dot D-Day, then Berlin'.

I was saying in some other thread that if they bundled together a 1943 expansion with LL aircraft and added an Africa/Europe map they would please everyone. Either way you guys are doing a great job, so whatever you do keep it up :)

And Russian customers are 20%.... just think what might happen to the percentages for western European and American sales if there was a change in tack

I only cought those 19% of US market. Then I fell asleep several times during Alberts monologue   ;) No idea what would happen to sales in Western Europe or USA, but it would for sure bring a lot of new funny forum disputes like "Is it me or spitfire FM s*cks?"... "Mustang FM porked"..."Zekecopter" etc.

unfortunately it would cost way more than $79.99 if made here in the USA.

What we seen the last 2 months; upgrade to 64 bit; more support as far as FM and DM additions and tweaks; I wouldn't put it past this new venture to be updating something we don't know about. The increase in player base is and has happen.

So its really hard to say what they will do next, but as the interview stated they are looking at new areas, so not sure what the decision will be.

its going to be a combined effort from 1CGames and 777Studios (the new Oleg Team) is now Loft and Hans; its in there hands and I think their doing a very great job in providing us with new and updated content and updates.

as you can see the last 2 months has been optimizations and great response to the Players.

and with the new GTX 1080 coming out you will see better FPS!

Same! Unless its totally bonkers... I'm pretty excited to see what comes next after Moscow. It's been fun in the leadup to the final release of this one. I'm guessing it'll be a lot of fun for the next one too :)

As long as they keep making flight simulators I'm a happy panda. I don't have any preference for any particular theater of operations. A Lend/Lease expansion would be great though.

Also for some reason I thought Loft would be older.

I don't know what will be the next but I'm sure I will buy it. The progression from BoS to BoM is there, the quality is speeding up and even with argumens about some FM's they are doing a great job in my honest opinion. If they keep this pace they can achieve a very strong and long life product...and ourselves a lot of happiness too ;)

For the benefit of the uneducated, allow me to translate.

They outlined their plans for the next expansion, which takes place in the My Little Pony universe. It will be more story-oriented, with the player going on quests, buying items from vendors using a new in-game currency called 'Sturmobucks', and making decisions that will effect the story and beyond. For example, if you choose not to marry that purple one, Sparkle Hooves or something, you get banned for life from all 777 forums. Then, they spoke at length about how they're biased towards Russian aircraft, which is why they spent huge amounts of time and money on German and Italian aircraft. The video ends with them announcing that the Ju-52 will be made flyable, but not landable or crashable.

It's worth noting that I learnt Russian from a drunk Peruvian named Keith, so the translation might not be 100% accurate.

Don't forget, Sturmobucks can be purchased with real currency and can be redeemed for 1mo/25SB War Hero bonus XP mode.
