FuriousMeow Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Uncheck full screen. Set your resolution. Restart game. Resolution will be set, recheck full screen, restart game. Previously set resolution will remain selected. Has been reported in bug section. 1
AcesHigh Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I had this issue to, when you first start run it in windows mode, then all resolutions display once you restart, select the resolution you want and change it back to full screen mode. Should be set, if you go back in to graphics properties though it will by default change back to 1280x800 so you have to remember to keep updating the resolution. Hope that works it worked for me.
FuriousMeow Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 It shouldn't reset. Mine always stays set when I go in the graphics section. If you change graphics settings after, then maybe it reverts back - haven't tried that. What is interesting though, is that I have SSAO set to =0 for both entries in startup.cfg but here in the graphics tab it shows it set to medium.

Panzerlang Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I think the resolution sticks, just the numbers revert. I go by the size of the FRAPS number and mine is at 2560x1600 even though the game's setting for res shows 1200 again.

This is how i do it, set graphics in game, leaving SSAO at medium, leave game, set GPU settings in Nvidia CP, then lastly set the SSAO in statup.cfg and then start up the sim. 1
