Many Thanks :)

As long as PWCG is installed in the BoS root directory (...\Battle of Stalingrad\PWCGCampaign) it should work.  Steam vs. other install doesn't matter.

Hi there Pat,

I have done all that, placed it in the root directory, created a new campaign, I also made sure that  the mission_text_log  = 1, I also ran the CG on Admin,  when i minimize it,  and open Bos, it is not showing in the missions at all, i have tried over and over even trying a new squadron and the result is the same, any help would be appreciated :)  Also Im running the standard Bos, with no extra planes if it helps..

PWCG writes the file to ..\data\missions - so it goes down one directory and then to data and missions.

Look into the mission folder.  Is the mission file there?  If yes then BoS is refusing to acknowledge it.

If it's there, open it.  Search for your plane (your pilot's name).  Can you fly the plane?  BoS will not display the mission if you don't own the  plane.

If the mission file is not there, check the PWCG error log (ErrorLog.txt).  Is an error being recorded?

If the mission is there and you can fly the plane, post the mission here in a zip file.  I'll open it in the ME and see if it contains errors.

Hi Pat,

Ive started a new campaign from german to russian, and now suddenly it works.. I think it really does depend on what plane and what squadron, as others stated in earlier posts.. All good for the moment and if i get any more problems ill let u know many thanks

If you have another mission that won't run, post it here.

I think I know the answer, but you will have to confirm for me.  I am guessing that you do now own Battle of Moscow.

BOX will not display a mission if the player does not own the player designated plane.  On March 1 1942 503rd Ground Attack Air Regiment is still flying the IL2M41.  If you do not own BoM start your career on August 1 1942.  You will be in the IL2M42 by then.

PWCG does not closely align planes and maps with the product.  Planes are used based on dates or based on best match (I.e. I use Stuka Ds on the Moscow map even though they were not there) and are not aligned with 1Cs product offerings.  If you correctly designate the planes that you own PWCG will warn you and refuse to write the mission .  Using your campaign, I told PWCG that I did not own the IL2M41 and it responded properly.  If you tell PWCG that you own everything then the actual game will stop you from flying a plane that you do not own.

I did generate and fly a mission from your campaign, so I did verify that it is OK to the extent that I am able.

The only plane that you must own is the one you are flying.  it is perfectly OK to have AI planes that you do not own.

Now ...if I'm wrong and you do own Moscow we'll have to do some more work to figure out what's up.

Ok - just start a campaign on August 1 1942 instead of March 1 and you're good.

If it makes you feel any better, I just spent 45 minutes trying to debug the same issue on a test run at home.  I wanted to test the Yak-7b.  Thinking I do not own the Yak-7b I assigned myself the Yak1 Ser 127.  Took 45 minutes to figure out that I do own the Yak-7b and I do NOT own the  Yak1 Ser 127 ... all while responding to you ...
