Launcher won't stop on exiting the game

Since the last update, when I want to start the sim, I have to go into task manager to end the launcher process from the last session.

 

After I do that, the sim starts and runs fine.

In your launcher settings, clear "Seed when downloaded" and select "Prefer web distribution".

You're welcome. Sometimes you may have to reapply the settings after an update, but I haven't had to lately.

happened to me couple times, after updates..

 

found last section in the startup.cfg missing..

 

[KEY = updater]
    enable_udp = 0
    language = "eng"
    locales = "rus,eng,ger,pol"
    p2p_port = 6881
    seed = 0
    web_distribution = 1
