A quick look at the skins folder showed that I've got the founder's skin for the Bf-109 F-4... despite the fact that I pre-ordered after October 1st.

 

 

Looks like you get the skins no matter when you pre-ordered... now I'm hoping the same is true for the IL2's ShKAS machine gun

 

But I can hardly complain if it isn't. '777, 1C, how dare you not give me this thing that you never said I would get!'

It's present because the skin needs to be there to be visible if you have it or not.

 

So don't get your hopes up, you might be able to use it - but it's more than likely unselectable by those who pre-ordered later but present in your skin folder so you can see it on those who use it.

 

Just letting you know so it doesn't come as a shock if you can't use it, and I'm truly uninformed so I could be totally wrong.
