Question - transferring to Steam

hi guys

 

firstly apologies for creating separate threads (separate questions). 

 

secondly, I just decided to port my BOS to Steam - stupidly I assumed this was so that you can start the game via steam but didn't realise you have to download/install everything again. Anyway, its done (currently downloading). My questions are:

 

1. do I lose all my ingame progress/unlocks?

2. does that mean I delete the non-steam BOS game?

3. what about my BOM a/c? does that port over to steam?

4. how can I port BOM to steam? (i don't get the ability to like with BOS).

BoS/BoM will stay as you have it now, no lose of anything, 

as the data is linked to your account and not to your installation.

yes I purchased the steam version; and just use my log in, works fine.

does that mean I can now delete the separate IL2 BOS game thats on my HDD? I'm assuming the main game is now run out of the steam folder.

Before uninstalling copy your input file, so you dont have to remap all the keys.

Yes, game is usually located here ...Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\

Thanks mate - I uninstalled last night after copying over the settings, etc - no major problems although the campaign missions did hang on the loading screen twice (I closed/opened it) before working.
