Devs - pls fix your server browser

its slow, takes forever to load, you can't filter our empty servers, or anything else. 

 

There are few populated servers as it is, help us out with trying to make finding one an easier process.

if it's slow i'd say that's your connection. no speed problems on my end. 

if you want to find servers with players, click on players and the servers will be sorted by player count

I dont think it's slow but I agree that it's lacking some features.

 

I would like to see what map is being played. We have more maps that many people realize (10). I know a lot are seasonal variations of the same map though:

• Stalingrad Winter
• Stalingrad Summer
• Stalingrad Autumn
• Lapino Summer
• Lapino Winter
• lapino Autumn
• Novosokolniki
• Velikie Luki
• Moskow Winter
• Moskow Autumn

Filters for password protected and for empty/full servers are also missing.

These three things are VERY basic and they are present in almost every multiplayer game.

 

 

I also raised the question about being able to load the entire map before the game telling you the server is full.

Someone in the questions for developers answered that this already exists but it's not working for me.

Thanks Jade_Monkey - thats pretty much what I wanted to write. I want to be able to filter out empty servers, and I notice that pings don't show for all servers. Once i jump into the list, it should refresh everything first.

As we don't have Hypperlobby anymore it would be nice to be able to check if our mates are already in-game.

A button aside of the server name to list the players would be a nice addition.

This!!! Devs, I live of the East Coast of the U.S.  Multi-player numbers are relatively low when I get home from work.  I like to fly VVS which tends to get slaughtered flying solo without mates on Teamspeak.  I really enjoy BOS and love the multi-player WHEN I can find people to fly with.  I am very hesitant to drop additional money into BOM if I cannot get enough online game time to justify my investment.  IL-2 Online which is nice, is not comprehensive and seems to exclude some of the multi-player servers that cater to the more serious simmer (such as DED expert, etc).   These servers are at a disadvantage because it is not possible to get any information about how many people are playing without logging into the game to check to see whether it is worthwhile to consider joining.  If there were a server browser function accessible in-game (by this I mean while flying in multi-player) that would show you who was logged in, which map was up, and time remaining, that would even be more awesome.  If it can't be done in the game itself, then how about the Steam overlay?

We need:

 

1. servers updating their ping quickly

2. the ability to mark servers as favourites

3. the ability to filter servers (ping, location, excl empty or full servers, normal vs expert settings, etc).

I speak just for me but - on 2016 they are not able to make a server browser with basic functions. mp is a big part from the game so i cant get it why - there is really no reasson for this crappy "mp server thing".

on my machine this "thing" who just display the servername, 3 possible icons and ping is also slow - got a 3,5mbyte connection so this is not the reasson!
