LLv34_Temuri Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Why is it so narrow? Looks like it's made for women, or eunuchs. :D
SvAF/F16_Goblin Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Review, designed for PS4 and PC http://nerdtechy.com/thrustmaster-tfrp-flight-rudder-pedals-review
Bando Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) What sensors does it use? It's not a bad deal anyway, TM Being a good brand imo. Edited April 29, 2016 by Bando
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 The alluminium rail mechanic looks interesting and more durable than Saiteks rubber wheels on plastic solution (which is a hell lot of work to maintain) but everything else looks quite a bit uncomfortable and flimsy (might be wrong here, only assumtion). Its definetly good to see more low price pedals appear on the market. If the sensors are more precise than Saiteks and the movement range isnt too bad this might be a very worthy contender to the Combat Pedals.
Sokol1 Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) The price range indicate use of cheap potentiometeres (like Hotas X/4, Saitek's line excluding X, Y axes in HOTAS), instead any kind of contactless sensors. Not that contactless sensors cost more than good potetentiometers, but using ~0,05$ pot' increase profit... Anyway is good have more option. People will complain about width but at least fit in Obuto's without trouble. Edited April 29, 2016 by Sokol1
Sokol1 Posted May 4, 2016 Author Posted May 4, 2016 (edited) T.16000M FCS (with "spacial" lights/colors... ) and the new TWCS - supposedly a standalone throttle. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ChpbnO_XAAA4lJ4.jpg Edited May 5, 2016 by Sokol1
Sokol1 Posted May 6, 2016 Author Posted May 6, 2016 All are prototypes, ETA in the market is September, 2016.
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 The throttle looks quite solid, might be worth a buy if the price is okay (around 50$ mark I suspect) Not sure about this extremely wide base though, kind off unnessecary in my opinion.
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 The throttle and rudder look really nice. If the reviews hold up I might just pick them up once my current HOTAS goes south.
Dakpilot Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Which pots does T.1600M use? perhaps because these new models are similar, they will share that architecture rather than from Tmaster cheaper range? Cheers Dakpilot
Sokol1 Posted May 6, 2016 Author Posted May 6, 2016 (edited) T.16000M use in X, Y axis the same Melexis 3D HALL sensor used in Warthog (the "H.E.A.R.T."). T.16000M FCS is basically the same joy, the only differences is a more width trigger and bolts for fit the joy in cockpit/chair, continues using the "H.E.A.R.T." And this new (bad taste) colors (spacial). But in twist rudder and throttle are used the same kind of cheap 'Ching Chong Ling" potentiometer used in entry-level and midi-level (Saitek X-xx in other axis than X,Y) joysticks and gamepads. The TFRP and TWCS probable will use the same kind of pot' in their axis... Is the market "rule" for the segment. Their advertising is focused in that "S.M.A.R.T." sliding rails. http://forum.il2sturmovik.ru/uploads/monthly_05_2016/post-24832-0-28414900-1462522029.jpg http://forum.il2sturmovik.ru/uploads/monthly_05_2016/post-24832-0-11901100-1462522065.jpg http://forum.il2sturmovik.ru/uploads/monthly_05_2016/post-24832-0-37520300-1462522072.jpg Edited May 6, 2016 by Sokol1
