Jester Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 I can't seem to adjust trim in any model of the Bf109. I've triple-checked my keybindings and have now tried both using my HOTAS and with keyboard inputs. In all cases I'm seeing no adjustment being made. keybindings and HOTAS work fine for trim inputs in any other plane. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug introduced in the last patch? Could someone please test this on their system and let me know if they see an issue as well?
=362nd_FS=RoflSeal Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Make sure you have mapped keys/axis to "Adjustable stabilizer axis"
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 (edited) Adjustable stab is all you have on a 109. All other axis are ground adjustable but fixed in flight. They are trimmed for cruise flight only and this is historically accurate. Also the reason for so much pilot use of rudder throughout the flight envelope. Edited April 23, 2016 by [LBS]HerrMurf
Jester Posted April 23, 2016 Author Posted April 23, 2016 Thank you guys. I was having a having a.....erm.... moment of senility )to put it politely!) and got myself confused between different key bindings. Sorted out now.
