KpgQuop Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Do you think the lower edge of the Quarter light frame is missing a texture? If it is, how would you go around addressing this?
Yogiflight Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 No it is not, the Emil indeed had a small window down there.
Dakpilot Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Something a bit strange here though? Cheers Dakpilot
KpgQuop Posted April 23, 2016 Author Posted April 23, 2016 Yes, Dakpilot, that's what I'm referring to. 2
ShamrockOneFive Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Ohhh.... I see it now. Doesn't look like a texture issue. Maybe a mis-aligned mesh.
KpgQuop Posted April 24, 2016 Author Posted April 24, 2016 Thanks for the replies all. Sounds like a reinstall to me. I'll report back with findings.
ShamrockOneFive Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Thanks for the replies all. Sounds like a reinstall to me. I'll report back with findings. No need.... I see it too. It's a mesh issue that the devs will have to fix.
Dakpilot Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Thread should be moved to Bugreports - Graphics Cheers Dakpilot 2
seafireliv Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Daaamn. Some of you guys really notice the tiniest things!
F/JG300_Gruber Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Daaamn. Some of you guys really notice the tiniest things! Agreed, I spent most of my time in the Emil and never noticed that either I guess that's how statistics works, the more people who look in the same direction, the more chances one will notice the detail everobody else missed.
Dakpilot Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 True it is a tiny fault, but once you see it.....just like the small fault on the rear armour/headrest of the G2, which was fixed after a while the graphic artists have shown they are proud of their work and will eventually look at issues in time, Mig 3 was another good example Cheers Dakpilot

Once it's been seen... It cannot be unseen :D Now I stare at it all the time!
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 (edited) this was reported in beta 1.104, Hans or Snieksie told us its a shading limitation in the texture. if Luke is around he is the one who reported it. Edited April 27, 2016 by 71st_Mastiff

Are you sure they are talking about the same thing we're talking about here. If I look on the left ... the mesh is properly lined up. If I look on the right its not. Someone needs to take a virtual hammer to it and give that piece a good wack to move it into place. I'd be very surprised if a shader or texture issue were responsible for that.
