Marrond Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Now many would say that I can use just external application like FRAPS or MSI Afterburner but wait a second. What I would like to suggest is, atleast for alpha/beta stage before release, to include drawFPS functionality similar as it's done in Planetside 2. You might not know how it works there so short description. We should see current FPS and it should change between two colors to indicate whether we're short on CPU or GPU power at any given moment. It would help us to give way more accurate feedback as we could describe when exactly our FPS drops and whether it is due to CPU or GPU so devs could look into that atleast a bit less blindly. It worked miracles during Planetside 2 optimization process so I believe it's a really great feature for testing purposes. 3
Tab Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Now many would say... What is important that also the devs said they delegate this functionality to the 3rd party software, which does the job quite well. Devs' time is invested in many other things instead with bigger use for players. I use radeonpro, it shows also GPU load in % and clock frequencies.
