AstrixAU Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) This is a awesome bit of software! It has no affect on FPS even with Reshade/SweetFX and PlaysTV recording! I tried TSNotifier but the FPS hit was huge, this on the other hand works great from what I have tried so far and has in fact been taken over development from TNotifier, that is how I found Kryptonite. They have frozen development but might be back but their last update did include a IL-2 fix so that's a plus right This below is from their site and details how they do it differently than other overlays in a way. "The core of the software is based on the former ts3overlay plugin, but the brand new HTML / JavaScript engine allows a flexible integration of nearly any data source and brings them all straight into your games." Below is an example with server chat Enjoy guys and hope to team up on TS! https://projectkryptonite.com/home Edited April 16, 2016 by astrix_au
LLv44_Damixu Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Really does TSNotifier have a huge hit on FPS? I ask because I am using it and it works as promised, but I have no idea if there are hit to the FPS because of this app.

Jade_Monkey Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 I might try it out, nothing else has worked so far. I dont know if it's because the Nvidia FPS counter overlay or what.
216th_Jordan Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 Hmm, have no fps loss either with tsnotifier. must be something with incompabilities. Anyway thanks for the info!
Willy__ Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 A few patches ago I tried to install that TS Overlay, but I gave up once I noticed it messed with the clouds and smoke columns when you see them in front of the horizon. Is it still the case or this version of TSoverlay wont mess with the graphics of the game ?
Mabroc Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 I use PLAYCLAW http://www.playclaw.com/ since several years ago and it works great, they constantly update it for the new Teamspeak versions. You can change and enable/disable several extra INFO (FPS, TIME, etc) and move around, change colour and behavior of every GUI part. Support screenshot grab and video capture with minimal FPS loss. BUT is not free or even cheap (Because I only use for OVERLAY)

Kryptonite is based off TSNotifier, the dev no longer supported it and let them take over though they did make huge changes in the way it works. I might try it out, nothing else has worked so far. I dont know if it's because the Nvidia FPS counter overlay or what. If you have it installed through steam use it's counter that's what I do.
AstrixAU Posted April 17, 2016 Author Posted April 17, 2016 Another great thing I have noticed that even when recording with playsTV while using Reshade/Sweetfx and Kriptonite running ALT tabbing is fine, even playsTV automatically just merges the video so it never even cuts it, pretty cool. PlaysTV is a great piece of software.
