For the first time in almost 16 years Planes of Fame's HA-1112-M1L Hispano roared to life last night April 13, 2016 around midnight.

Sweet! Always nice to see a warbird come back to life!

 

EDITd For anyone as confused as I was, HA-1112s were in Pearl Harbor to represent Bf-109s in a highly inaccurate Battle of Britain sequence that involved Ben Affleck's American character flying a No. 303 SQN Spitfire Mk.Vb.

I am probably in the minority but would hope/prefer to see it painted in original style

 

 

 

I think they deserve to stand on their own without Luftwaffe 109 paintjob's but i do understand the 'crowd' factor

 

I have no idea what the plans are, so I may be doing some pre-emptive unnecessary whining

That is the correct scene Cybermat but there was only one Hispano used in the movie Pearl Harbor. The rest of the Luftwaffe planes were CGI copies of it.

I am with you Dakpilot but this should give you an idea of its intended paint scheme.

The Planes Of Fame 109 is ALIVE!!!

The three bladed propeller they have on it should be the other clue.
