Question for WoL Admins Regarding Runway Behavior

Is it a violation of the server rules to avoid using the runways for takeoff?

I think many people object to this behavior but I don't see any rules posted on the server about it. Perhaps there should be.

We need minefields added to the game......simply place the mines either side of the taxiways and runway

There's a simple solution. Send a track of the offender to the admin and get them banned. But it needs to be posted as a rule first.

I might be wrong but on a big popular server like WOL I imagine the workload for doing this stuff would be huge. They must get a lot of different people popping in and leaving through the night.

 

That's why I was happy with the earlier ground handling, it wasn't hard if you went slow on the taxiways but it put a stop to that behaviour but as usual people moaned because hardcore was too hardcore for them.

 

I do agree though, people who think it's ok to spoil other people's fun should be punished. In the end I just made my own server, it's nowhere close to as busy as the big ones but we're happy pottering about, having little duels and generally blowing stuff up, taxiing rules are in the mission description and anyone pulling those kind of stunts will just get banned

Oh yes. Players taking off in an "unsafe" manner is top on the list of online problems which need to be adressed.
