SATURDAY NIGHT BOMBER FLIGHTS NEED YOU!

So here is the deal...I have always apreciated the threads where people give away a free copy of the game too someone.  Well here it goes with a slight twist.

 

I am giving away 1 FREE copy of Battle of Stalingrad standard edition.  There is a catch.

 

You must attend​ ​ 3 Saturday Night Bomber Flights Over the next 2 months.(I will be more than willing to help get you ready)  Thats it, thats all it will cost you.  Just please honor your word and try to fly with us.

 

I dont want to be one of those guys who complains about lack of players and doesnt do anything about it if I can.  I would prefer it goes to someone who is strapped for cash or really in no position to buy the game but has been a forum lurker for a while or  something.  So if you know someone tell them to post here and I will give it too them.  Please do not take advantage of this if you have the game already, just come fly with us already LOL.

 

I hope I can add a little cheer to someones day!

Damn. If you`re that desperate I`ll fly on your server, but I`m really a fighter jock, not a bomber jock! I have been flexible enough to fly some bombers online for my squad when necesarry.  No free stuff required (I have BOS anyway). I wouldn`t say no to an LA5 though!

Heck yeah seafireliv.  We are always looking for fighters.  Its a great feeling attacking a flight of 4 to 8 bombers with your mates.  Trying to keep a good thing going.

Thanks Jade...The bomber flights are something you need too see live to really get how good of a time we have.  The videos and AARs are only part of the picture. After my first I was hooked.   Our flight a few weeks ago was by far my favorite so far.  for the record Jade is a good pilot.

I wonder how many people don't even bother looking at the event because they think it is for bombers?  Maybe we ought to change the title to something more lively like "SNBFU" or maybe just "Saturday Night Campaign" to show that it's not just about bombing things.

For me its just a bad time. I need to be doing other things on a Saturday afternoon. Would be better late at night when kids are in bed and wife watching tv or something. I know we are in different time zones. There's just not enough people in the American nights to support this yet. Maybe when we leave the laggs and yaks and move to something more popular here.

Snake there seems to be some flex with the time...if we got enough of us I am sure we could make it later for us east coast guys...this would only help the west coast people as well. At this point Manu has been very accommodating.

Good thing about these flights you can just follow flight leader to objective.  I usually have a beer on the way lol.

I don't finish work till 8pm on a Saturday,by the time i get home and have dinner it's getting on 9. I don't work Fridays however so I can join in then.

damn...bomber flights...I absolutely LOVE bombers and I'd happily fly with you guys for free!! Question though...which server and when do you guys normally fly? I'm based in Aust so I'm assuming its going to be my morning, your night so probably won't happen but you never know.

Well Pharoah the Saturday flights are usually 3pm or 7pm eastern time US eastern time zone.  Not sure what that is for you but I really hope you can make it.  We have a really good time and always a lot of action.  The missions are very well designed and makes for a really good time.   I hope the times I have quoted are correct.  If not Manu or Neun will be along shortly to give you more details and correct me if I am wrong.

ok assuming that's Los Angeles time, 3pm Sat in LA = 8am Sun in Brisbane; 7pm Sat in LA = midday in Brisbane. I could probably make the 8am Sunday (assuming I'm not going for a ride). I've flown big missions before in IL2 and, being someone who loves M/E bombers, I prefer flying in formation. Anyway, see how we go aye?

Okay I do believe that LA time is 3 hours behind me...that would be a bit earlier I do think if my maths are correct?  I too like flying the attack/bombers...nothing like it for me.

Ahh these things happens...my kids, wife, and pets have all grounded me a time or three. We had a great flight this week. Come next week and the same guys are doing a weds. Evening flight as well.
