manitouguy Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Hi there – could someone please point me in the right direction to any existing threads related to landing the i-16 properly or give some basic steps here Thanks in advance - much appreciated
Bando Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) You need time to get the wheels down and the flaps are also manually done, so make sure that the downwind leg is for gear and the base leg (partially) for flaps. Gear down process at speeds < 350, full flaps at < 250. Approach speed 190 - 200, touch down at 140. In this link is more info about the numbers: http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/168-developer-diary/page-4?do=findComment&comment=336140 Edited April 11, 2016 by Bando
6./ZG26_Emil Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Here's one I did just because.... I like doing take offs and landings This is not supposed to be any kind of perfect examples and yes the glider pilots will probably cringe at my powered approach lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVUw7gHgWhM&feature=youtu.be
