Hopper64 Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I guess with the new update to 1.201, I can't use the skin viewer. I have this attached error. Any ideas? Thanks.
TG-55Panthercules Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Haven't seen a problem with the viewer that wasn't also a problem with the game (at least in RoF), but every time I've encountered this sort of "side-by-side" error it seems to have been connected with not having all the necessary DirectX 9 and/or other old Microsoft components that the game needs and usually tries to install when you install the game. Have you recently changed operating systems? I started getting similar side-by-side errors with RoF when I "upgraded" to Windows 10, and I fixed them by doing another installation of the game and letting it install all those MS/third party things it wants to do - might be worth trying that with BoS and see if that does the trick. Hopper64 Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 Zami recommended installing vs2008 redistributable x64. I did this and the viewer came right up. I had the x86 version installed only.
