Game crash after todays update

Brief description: Downloaded a 128mb update, asked to select Input Device mouse or Joystick, trying to remapp my Controlls/Joysticks or trying to do a Quick mission occured to a game crash with windows message Programm doesnt work anymore.

 

 

 

Detailed Description

I started the IL-2 launcher, it downloaded a 128 mb update. After starting it asked me to select my Controll device, mouse,Joystick. I tried to remap my Controlls/Joysticks but it crashes. Windows Message Program doesn't work anymore.

Same when i tried to do a Quick mission, i could select the planes, etc. but klicking the start button, same crash.

Somehow it worked 2 times to actually get in the plane, but as i tried to remapp my Controlls out of there, same crash

 

Today i also installed the new Flash update version 21.0.0.213 , don't know if there is a connection or not.

sorry im thick where do i double click these messages

sorry to be  a nuesence im fairly new to this game and not a pc wizz kid im on windows xp still, soon to be upgraded

This thread has been created to find the cause of the random game crashing with the community help.

Game version 1.107b and later is required for submitting crash dumps.

 

Please post only the data requested and avoid off-topic discussion.

 

1. To enable Windows Error Reporting, run (double-click) this log file:

<install_folder>\data\EnableErrorReporting.reg

2. In a case of the game crash open the folder where crash dumps are stored, you can do this by running this batch file:

<install_folder>\data\ViewCrashDumps.cmd

3. Sort the dump files by date to find a newest one

4. Zip the newest dump file "Il-2.exe.****.dmp" (**** is a random number)

5. Post about the crash in this thread, attach the archive you just made and provide some details:

• When you encountered the crash;
• In what game mode (MP/QMB/campaign/scenario);
• In what mission;
• What did you do before the crash;
• What happened in the mission before the crash;
• Additional info you think is relevant to the crash.

You never did get an answer did you?

 

The game crashes to desktop as if it was never

even running with no reports generated for me.

 

I think I need a break from this game and come back when

the beta patches are running better.

 

Last update was 1.201 I guess.

 

They should put a b for beta like they used too in the old IL-2.

 

4.08b for beta then 4.08 fixed:)

 

So it should be the 1.1201b patch
