Please help windows 10. I upgraded from 8.1 to win 10 win everything works fine, CLOD, ROF, but does not work BOS, have any solution ?.

On Windows 10 BOS works fine with my version. I do have my sims\games on a completely separated partition and drive to the drive Win 10 is on.

Perhaps a completely clean Win 10 install is best, which is what I did.

Hi chesterfield. What do you mean ? BOS doesn't Work ? CTD, Wont Launch, BSOD ? And what are your system Specs ?

If you want some help you need to give more information. Lots of people here (including me) will be Glad to help !

I didn't have problems running BOS after installing Windows 10. Are your drivers for graphics card, sound card etc. updated?

 

Sometimes upgrade to Windows 10 doesn't go smoothly. For example I lost all installed programs but the hard drive space was still reserved. I recommend clean install of Windows 10. Remember to do backups of important files

I upgraded my system from 8.1 to 10 this weekend.

 

Everything went smoothly and all software and hardware including IL2 BOS work exactly as before without problems.

 

I used the upgrade tool. After the upgrade was complete, I installed windows 10 Nvidia drivers and installed ch products flight controllers and track IR which I had disconnected and uninstalled before doing the upgrade.

Just a minor problem, as I finally upgraded to win10 but is there any way to alt+tab out of BoS/BoM on windows 10 ???

 

It works ok with regular browser pages, teamspeak window etc, but when BoS is the only program running, no way to alt+tab out (for TrackIR tweaking for example). The win+D stuff doesn't work either in game.

 

Do you guys know a workaround (aside from keeping a random page open to go back to) ?

If you kept the same BoS installation, and the game don't open in Win10, go to the folder:

 

.... \IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad\data\updater\3rd_party

 

And reinstall the software's there, DX9, VCREdist, etc.
