No problems here .. What soundcard ? Problems before win 10 ? Problems after update ? Or before ? Check your startup.cfg .. 128 bit setting

Hi V!

Have you tried to put your Bit Rate to High?

After the last update mine was reset to medium.

Maybe this helps.

Hi V,

Yu should post a bug report for the team to check. I can't think of anything other than what have been already said, sorry.

Stereo or 5.1? No driver for usb headset ? Try only stereo .. Then 5.1... Check win soundset

What does your sound section in your startup.cfg look like?

It should look something like this:

[KEY = sound]
count = 128
debug_radio = 0
interface = 1
interface_music = 1
quality = 2
speedenable = true
volume = 0.30000

Maybe something wrong in here.

Are you using Teamspeak or other software, that uses sound-signals?

I have another sound relate problem:

Each time the game does communicated with me, a radio communication, like when the landing communications there is a light or medium stutter (freeze) of the game!

Is or was there someone else with the same problem and how was it resolved?!  :wacko:

Did it just resolve itself or did you take any actions?  I'm experiencing the identical problems to you in both BOS and Rise of Flight.  I have a clean install of Win 10, not an upgrade.

Thanks!

I did reinstall all my sound and graphic pilots (nvidia) and all  problems  did go away. I also am in a Windows 10 system environement now without problems or stutters.

Greeves,

I did a clean install of windows 10. My sound problem was in both ROF and BOS. When i installed my nvidia drivers i only selected the driver for the graphics card. I did not install the nvidia audio drivers.

Good luck

Were you a DOOM beta tester? That was the last install i did on my PC before the crap hit the fan!

No, Sorry I have no interest in Doom at all. A long time ago maybe but not now.

But the last big patch of IL2 battle of Stalingrad / Battle of Moscow beta! did create some problems with the sound drivers that where resolved with the reinstallation of my sound and graphic pilots (both, I tried sound only and it did not work) ...

But indeed it is not the first time that some other game or installation can disturb a well-balanced and perfectly functioning PC. ;)

Many thanks for the quick answer!

No, I wasn't a Doom beta tester.  Interestingly my ROF sound problem only started after I installed BOS (steam version).  I just got it about a week or so ago.  I'm going to look at the nvidia drivers, as you mentioned.

I appreciate all your help!
