JimTM Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Very nice diagram Kokakolo. Kudos! Here's an extract from the mission editor manual re. creating arrows on the GUI map using the "Attack" line type: FME Manual Extract - Attack Line Type.pdf
No601_Swallow Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Very clear extract Jim! And great diagram, Kokakolo!

coconut Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 (edited) Nice! What did you do to get the distance and flight duration indications? Edited April 8, 2016 by coconut
Urra Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 (edited) Anyone know how to get this type of line? With the aircraft... Edited April 9, 2016 by roaming_gnome
Menacing_Ferrets Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Coconut the distance/duration are drawn automatically with that line type. All of those "shapes" were actually drawn as squares all of the same size. Zone types and some position types smooth edges automatically. The attack arrow is also misshapen only because it was drawn as box. This is an extremely useful image!!! Thanks to Kokakolo I've set it as my background before, when editing This also may be of some guidance, it's just not as easy to reference. https://youtu.be/AsGILIF6SAI
Alfaunostebas11 Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 Very interesting picture Kokakolo.I have another question to ask about attack line types to draw the direction of an attack. The manual explains how to position the icons to create an arrow, but despite the fact that I move the angle and the distance between the last two icons (the ones that form the hook ...) the shape of the arrow's tail is always very wide .How can you create an arrow with a narrower tail? I attach the test file which produces on the GUI a very large arrow's tail. Thank. Test.rar

Try placing the tail icons about 3 or 4 icon-widths apart. You could also increase the distance between the two icons at the arrow head to balance the entire arrow shape. Edited July 5, 2020 by JimTM
Alfaunostebas11 Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 Thank you Jim. I want to ask you if you can edit my test.rar file (attached to my post), so I can better understand which must be the sample... Thank...
Thad Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 No.... Jim must work on the update to the editor manual only. 1

Alfaunostebas11 Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 Thanks Jim, it's just what I needed, because this saves me the time to continue with a series of tests ... the difference between the various shapes, in fact, as I see, is very small and you need to experiment to find the right one.Thank you, as always you have been kind and precious, with your great experience ...
