Picchio Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 (edited) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5nfXqffvyc Watched it the other day... it's really something when it comes to lighting and other general effects (smoke, especially!)... but those shootouts still look (and felt, at least in the previous chapters that I played) too harmless, and too silly. Feathered_IV Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Whoa, a script! Who would have thought it could improve gameplay? Lucky its not a flight sim. You'd have three guys in a jeep shouting "Engaging enemy, it's close!" over and over (and over) again.
steppenwolf Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 What I appreciate are the character animations. I'm currently playing The Witcher 3, and compared to Geralt's basic movements Nathan's are much more natural. Notice the slight stumble @2:03(CDPR didn't even model a proper 'hop down' animation), the reactive animations of the characters while driving, even the lemur animations @6:09(again, compare to Witcher 3's fauna). I also thought the cut scenes and conversation cues were well executed.

Well, I am sincerely unable to like the game in its whole. But every now and then I immerse myself in its environments, and I imagine how good Cyberpunk 2077 can be...
