Blitzen Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 I've noticed in both the Bf-110 & new Ju-88,while flying SP & other off line missions in minorly modified Custom settings I cannot seem to get both throttle levers to be in the same input position. This is true just looking at the throttles in the cockpit & in the HUD display. There seems to be a 15-20% difference.I've tried various solutions in engine key settings ( all engines on & off etc.) but apparently have missed the best combination that I must use...or is there? In every plane I see automatic adjustments in throttle position so perhaps this is some sort of function of Custom settings? In regular flight this doesn't make all that much difference, but it can creat real problems in take off & landings. Any ideas &/or help? Thanks!
LeRocket Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 that has happened to me and my x-55 throttle. i had about the same difference and moving the throttle's up and down from min to max seemed to fix it for me. i'm still not entirely sure what happened, just wiggled it a couple of times with my technochat open and it was back to normal.
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Im having the same issues I just hit the "0" zero key and close and open the throttle again.
Blitzen Posted April 5, 2016 Author Posted April 5, 2016 will give it a try- wish there was the keystroke option there is in the old Il-2 of 'All engines".

wtornado Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 I select all engines in my HE-111 and start them up with that setting. I set my CH flight quadrant axises all to 0 and then I select ''all engines'' Engine 1 starts then engine 2 and when both engines are running I put water rads to 100% and oil rads to 100% all synchronized with the ''select all engines'' button
Blitzen Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 Ok by in large your comments have solved the problem except... Using the QM I placed a single Ju-88 on the runway.Mission starts with both engines running, but one at about 10% power & the second at more than 40% resulting in the aircraft doing donuts.reducing power ( or increasing & reducing) didn't help.Hitting all engines didn't help.Shutting down both engines & restarting resulted in the same unequal settings sometimes switching engines. Assigning a keystroke to each engine &starting them independently didn't seem to work either. After starting them both & hitting all engines didn't help swing by now unequalpower.Engine settings overcame holding opposite engine power slowed donut making down but take-off was still impossible with one engine revving that much higher than the other.I don't recall this happening on the He-111 of even the Bf-110and in the air this behavior seems correctable.I'm perplexed.
Bando Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Is one (or more) axis by accident also connected to throttle. For instance an axis like oil cooler or so? To me it sounds like something is forcing the throttle to take a certain setting while your appointed throttle does not work. In setup do you have orange flags? They will tell you what double assignments you have set for a given device.
[DBS]Prody Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 is Joystick noise filter set to zero ? you can bring them both to zero by : - select no engine (i think it's 9 by default ) - no engine selected - press 2 - select only engine number 2 - cut throttle to zero - select no engine again - press 1 - select only engine number 1 - cut throttle to zero - press "select both engines " now ( 0 ) - throttle up , should both display the same value
