It is a fast fast bird. Really glad the Germans got something equivalent to the Pe-2 which is also excellent.

There are some rather impressive cruise speeds there in that manual for a bomber! No wonder it was considered fast.

The camera operation section makes me want photo recon missions. Especially if you could view the results and those results were influenced by photographic and environmental parameters (shutter open/close, light,  temperature, cloud cover, and so on). Admittedly, it's got to be way more work than user interest would justify, but it sure would be cool.

Perhaps. In the Cliffs of Dover "Storm of War 3.0" campaign there were more players flying Ju 88s on recon, than there were on bombing sorties.

 

I, for one, would really appreciate a good recon implementation.
