1CGS LukeFF Posted April 3, 2016 1CGS Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) Something I picked up years and years ago from Jippo when the Ju 88 was made flyable by him for the original IL2: (text is in English) Ju 88 Finnish Pilot's Notes.pdf Edited April 3, 2016 by LukeFF 3
xvii-Dietrich Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Excellent. But do you (or anyone) happen to have the original Finnish-text version at all?

Venturi Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 It is a fast fast bird. Really glad the Germans got something equivalent to the Pe-2 which is also excellent.
Kurfurst Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 There are some rather impressive cruise speeds there in that manual for a bomber! No wonder it was considered fast. Thank you for posting it.
mort Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 The camera operation section makes me want photo recon missions. Especially if you could view the results and those results were influenced by photographic and environmental parameters (shutter open/close, light, temperature, cloud cover, and so on). Admittedly, it's got to be way more work than user interest would justify, but it sure would be cool. Cool manual regardless.
xvii-Dietrich Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Admittedly, it's got to be way more work than user interest would justify, but it sure would be cool. Perhaps. In the Cliffs of Dover "Storm of War 3.0" campaign there were more players flying Ju 88s on recon, than there were on bombing sorties. I, for one, would really appreciate a good recon implementation.
