4./JG52, Moving Forward......

It’s been only a couple of months since we formed our unit and we have already established ourselves as a well-known and respected virtual squadron within the community.  I’d like to thank our C/O, Manu, for having the vision to reach out to some really great guys who have helped to make this possible. Tx_Tip, Coconut, Custard, and Panzerbar, just to name a few that have helped us along the way.

 

Saturday Night Bomber Flights has been a success and we see the numbers increasing…as we factor in the best flight times for as many people as possible.  In addition, Manu has sponsored, along with Coconut and 55IAP_Lucas, a coop based training session which we have high hopes for expansion in the future.

 

We have also included the newly formed 5./ZG1 Staffel that in addition to providing reserve fighter pilots…. also gives us ground pounding capabilities in support of our mission objectives.  I'm equally pleased with our own Dedicated Server that is now up and running as well.  We've come a long way, in a short amount of time....and thanks to all our members and the community for making it possible.

 

We are currently opening up our unit to four additional positions (prefer 3 in North America and 1, in Europe) should anyone be interested in sharing not only our little slice of history, but on the camaraderie and fun we’ve experienced along the way.

Welcome to our two newest additions to the Staffel.  4./JG52_Yeti and 4./JG52_Batz will be rounding out our numbers and filling in some gaps we've experienced lately.  We still have room for an additional pilot with our fighter unit and remember, guys with limited time can always fly for the Fliegerkorps group which can be located on our site as well.

Well we've got some slots open for anyone interested in flying with us.  Shift work and some family responsibilities have  created at least four additional slots primarily in the North American section of our Staffel.  Anyone interested come join our site and check us out.  We stay very active in the Community working with other Squads and Mission Builders to give as many online historical war server options as possible. You will not find any "hotdogs" in our group or the Community we interact with...It's just not a problem.  If you want to meet some like minded guys who enjoy sharing this hobby of ours...come give us a look. If you want to fly VVS....may I recommend the 19th GIAP based out of NA as well or the 55th IAP based out of Europe..  It takes...two to tango.

Two more new cyber pilots have joined our ranks, 4./JG52_Klaus and 4./JG52_Bully. We welcome these new guys who will fill in for our members who have been on extended leave. We understand that the responsibilities of family and work are going to ebb and flow and we adjust accordingly.

 

If there is anyone else looking for a squad we can always make room, but if you are undecided about what side to join, the community could use more VVS pilots especially in North America. You can check out our site which also has a VVS link to the 19//GIAP and you can scope both of us out. I will say that the 19th does have a better dental plan than us, but then again they really need it.

Well actually...we have 12 pilots for the Staffel and 2 for the Gruppe, but that doesn't mean we can't make some more room should anyone else want to join us.  We currently have 6 or so on reserve, and hope to have some of them back with us active very soon and we always have our Fliegerkorps.  But I encourage new pilots who have no real historical preference to go VVS, as NA could use some more pilots in this area.

Neun: Can you tell me what settings your group uses for flying? I'm just crossing over from flying 109's on wwiionline where the flight model was way more user friendly. I know the learning curve for this game is steep, so I'll need to know what setting to get used to.
