Irgendjemand Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 (edited) The Devs have said many times that the refraction effect needed to get rid of the bars would cause a huge performance drop. I really don't get that attitude against these devs... Simplest solution would be to just eliminate the Bars at all. They werent visible in the real thing. The way its is right now is not a good way of SIMulating the proper vire from an FW of this type. Bad designdecision. No need for refraction effect. As always, devs are Gods and when an FM stays broken for months/years (oh look, every BoS fighters actually) it's because of the "arrogant" community, yes we know. I saw the report made by Doc & Crump months ago, it was perfect, but our dear Han and Phenazepam have preferred to keep their eyes closed with the classic "Nah you're wrong, you're wrong, AND you're wrong *leave the conversation*". Somewhere along the way, this turned into a "being right / wrong" thing instead of remaining a common interest to make most of what is possible FM-wise. In most cultures, this kills the argument. It also seems that there are certain people from whom the devs wouldn’t take advice (anymore), even if their life depended on it. I hope to be wrong on all of this.

Unfortunately, if they really used the Chalais-Meudon wind tunnel test (was that confirmed somewhere?), they did not have the right data to "correct" anything and still did that. Today, after I made some FM test and I couldn`t stop seeing comments in the FM section from you. I think the people here are triying to help the DEV team, sometimes there is a lenguage barrier or sometimes they dont act like they should but I am sure that they want something good. Apart from that, I think you are aggresive to these comments, I know that they are meaningfull and in many cases correct but we are all people trying to help, maybe another kind of aproach will be good for everyone. (The claimers included) How long have you been in the team? could you help us to make the FM better? I hope this message is not with bad meaning towards you, we are all in the same boat, sometimes with a different point of view but that doesent mean we want something better than it really was.
