TrackIR not recognizing game after 1.2 update

I have only had my trackir for a week, but it has been working perfectly up to this point.

 

I updated the game to 1.2 yesterday and trackir no longer recognizes the game.  (the trackir software does not list the game next to Title on the trackir screen when it is running).

 

Arma 3, IL-2 CloD and DCS work fine.

 

I have restarted my computer.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Trackir software twice.  I deleted all the files in the roaming data/NP folder.  

 

IL2 BoS is listed in the titles tab, I have the latest version of the trackir software installed.  I tried stopping the trackir and restarting as admin...

 

I am out of ideas, any help you can give me would be great.

Strange my Track ir works fine. I take it you have the TIR 5? Maybe try running it as administrater?

Right, sorry I forgot to mention that, I do have version 5 of the hardware, and the current software.  I started, stopped, ran as admin. Tried updating the game list. Nothing seemed to make a difference.

I hate to try a complete reinstall of BoS but that is my last option at this point.

My TIR5 works OK after update. Well,it did also before. Try to uninstall /reinstall TIR. Or maybe some ingame setting must be turned on? Not at my gaming PC, still at work.

I had the same problem with freetrack, before the update it works good. the old track ir in the startup cfg standing on 1 but it don`t works. shit!!!!

Freetrack is not supported with 64bit anymore. Han anounced that earlier. Try opentrack instead.

There`s no need to do anything in the sim itself. Just have TIR activated first then run the game- All works.

Uninstalling the game, and reinstalling did nothing. 

 

Still stuck.

As seafire said, you do not need to have the game listed in track ir software for it to work in game, have you run track ir, then run the game to see if it works?

Yes, the trackir software runs at startup.  I just tested it in IL2 CloD and it works fine but I don't really want to go back to playing that since we just got an upgrade.

Settitg the TrackIR data in the startup file from =1 to =0 worked for me. Before it worked with = 1.

Try 64-bit driver/TIR software then try resetting the startup file again.

After countless uninstalls and reinstalls it seems to be working again.  It may have to do with being on the same hard drive as the game, but that is where it started in any case.

 

sorry I don't have any kind of answer for anyone else with and issue.

 

just happy it's working again (wasted an entire day messing with this thing)
