Fifi Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Hi, Is it working for you? Because here, impossible to lock this damn tail wheel. Starting mission #2, it's just plain impossible to me to taxi to the take off way following the zigzaging track... Plane is often suddenly turning a 360° and ending stucked on some object. Furthermore without right/left wheels brakes!
FuriousMeow Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Directional wheel brakes don't exist on the LaGG. You have to set something else for the other wheel brake option, another axis or button (I'm using my left toe brake, but keeping both toe brakes assigned). The LaGG uses the rudder bar to dictate if left or right, or both brakes are engaged if the wheel brake is engaged.
Fifi Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 And what about tail wheel locking? Try external view while running slow speed, and rudder left/right. Switch locked/unlocked...same result = unlocked
HeavyCavalrySgt Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 And what about tail wheel locking? Try external view while running slow speed, and rudder left/right. Switch locked/unlocked...same result = unlocked I wonder if the real plane had a lockable tailwheel. It is interesting the tailwheel seems to be pinned down.
pilotpierre Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Tail wheel lock is not working yet Fifi
Fifi Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Ah, ok then. But as Sgt said, maybe Lagg didn't had one! (hope it has one cause it's very helpful) Was worried i missed something
Finkeren Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) Hehe, if the LaGG has neither lockable tailwheel or working individual brakes, then we in the old RoF crowd should feel right at home While most of it strikes me as realistic I must say, that I've never flown a sim, where ground handling was by far the hardest part. Must agree with the ground handling. Never had this problem in either real life or a Sim.
FlatSpinMan Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Locking. Bug reports in bug report section. Also, its not a bug
Bearcat Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Locking. Bug reports in bug report section. Also, its not a bug ............. You have to throttle up slowly in this plane. If you gun the throttle the torque will make you spin. Small moves.
